Judson Athletics Ready for Busy Spring Break

Judson University will have a record number of athletic programs participating during spring break as 11 programs will be playing in varsity competition.

The Judson University Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track and Field season concludes on March 6 -7 as the Eagles racewalkers participate in the NAIA 3,000-meter championship races. Maria Alarcon, Nayeli Cisneros, and Beth Rodriguez will be running in the women’s race, while Blake Weiss will be in the men’s race.

The Men’s and Women’s Soccer teams will be playing during spring break for the first time in program history as the teams will be continuing conference play. Both teams face Olivet Nazarene on Saturday, March 7. The men’s team will face Indiana-Northwest on Wednesday, March 10, and then the women’s team faces Governor’s State on Saturday, March 13.

Judson’s Softball Team will be making a week-long road trip across the Midwest facing William Woods (MO), Huntington (IN), Indiana-Southeast, Rochester (MI), and Madonna (MI).

The Baseball team will be traveling to Florida to participate in the Warner University tournament against the host Royals on Monday and Thursday, St. Thomas University (FL) on Thursday, Brewton-Parker on Friday, and Bellevue (NE) on Friday.

Judson’s Tennis teams will also be traveling to Florida as they face Ave Maria (FL) on Tuesday, Warner University on Wednesday, and Southeastern University on Thursday.

Judson’s Men’s Volleyball program will face Cardinal Stritch on Tuesday in Milwaukee, will host Cornerstone on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. for Judson’s home athletic event over break, and then will travel to NCAA Division-II Kentucky State for an exhibition on Friday.

Judson’ Bowling teams will participate in the Warhawk Open in Whitewater, Wis., on Saturday and Sunday, March 13-14. For all information on start times and additional information, please visit our athletics website at judsoneagles.com.
