Judson University Baseball has learned that two of its players have earned postseason recognition. Brandon Callender concludes his time with the Judson Baseball Team with a second-team CCAC all-conference recognition, while Alec MacLennan has earned both CCAC Gold Glove Team and NCCAA North Central Region second-team honors.
Callender led the Eagles with 62.1 innings pitched, 10 games started, and a 4.19 ERA. He was also among the team leaders in strikeouts (42), strikeouts per nine innings (6.06), wins (3), and appearances (10).
MacLennan offensively led the team in batting average (.306). He also was the team leader in on-base percentage with an impressive .481 on-base percentage. He was among the team leaders in doubles (9), home runs (3), RBI (11), stolen bases (9), hits (30), runs (17), and at-bats (98). Defensively, MacLennan led the team with 170 total fielding attempts, and he made the most of those opportunities as he put together an impressive .959 fielding percentage. He also led the team in turned double plays with 17 and assists with 112.
