For the first time in tournament history, the Judson University Eagles earned the top spot in the NCCAA Invitational on January 27-28.
The Eagles previously participated in the invitational in 2019 and 2020. In 2019, the Eagles went 2-2, including winning the field-place match in straight sets over Bluefield. In 2020, the Eagles finished in fourth following a 2-2 showing with wins over Geneva (PA) and Greenville in four sets apiece.
Pool play occurs on January 27. Judson will face CCAC foe Olivet Nazarene at 4:00 p.m. The Eagles then play Maranatha Baptist at 8:00 p.m. Each team is guaranteed two matches on Saturday in the semifinal/final rounds or the consolation matches. Student-Athletes and coaches will have the opportunity to participate in a Christian Service Project, with more information to be announced soon. The full tournament schedule can be found here.
