Upcoming DCWPA Ensemble Performances this Fall

The DCWPA is pleased to offer the following small ensemble performances this fall. All are invited to attend and admission is free. All performances will be given in Thulin Auditorium in Thompson Hall at 7:00 p.m., followed by light refreshments.

Piano Ensemble and Chamber Singers Recital on Tuesday, November 15

The Judson Piano Ensemble, directed by Dr. Sojung Hong, and the Judson Chamber Singers, directed by Dr. Josh Jones, will be collaborating to bring an interesting program of varied musical genres. Light refreshments will be served following the performance. This is a free event open to the public.

Jazz Combo on Friday, November 18

The Judson Jazz Combo, under the direction of adjunct professor Robert Blazek, will perform a fun program of jazz standards.  Light refreshments will be served following the performance. This is a free event open to the public.

Master of Arts in Community Music (MACM) Showcase #1, Saturday, November 19

MACM students will be showcasing their efforts along with all the young people with whom they’ve been working this semester. Light refreshments will be served following the performance. This is a free event open to the public.

Percussion Ensemble Concert, Tuesday, November 29

The Judson Percussion Ensemble, directed by adjunct professor Michael Folker, will bring a “Joyful Noise” and delight the audience with its energetic program. Light refreshments will be served following the performance. This is a free event open to the public.

Master of Arts in Community Music (MACM) Showcase #2, Tuesday, December 6

Students in the new Master of Arts in Community Music program, directed by Dr. Sojung Hong, will be showcased in this recital.  Light refreshments will be served following the performance. This is a free event open to the public.
