Judson Theatre Presents “It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play”

Judson Theatre and the DCWPA proudly present “It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play,” directed by Michael Kum and produced by Prof. Kimberly Schmidt.   Showtimes are Friday, October 28, and Saturday, October 29, at 7:00 p.m., plus a matinee on Saturday, October 29 at 3:00 p.m. in Thulin Auditorium in Thompson Hall. Tickets can be purchased in advance at RadioPlay.Eventbrite.com.

“It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play” is based on the classic holiday movie with a clever twist: the story is staged as a live 1940s radio broadcast! The story of George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve but discovers that life is worth living because of the love of family, friends, and God. This fun adaptation will feature the talents of Judson students Spencer Armstrong, Karyssa Dale, John Francis, Rayna Mall, Rachel Rosborough, Tobias Salisbury, and Luke Staerkel all playing multiple parts and creating hilarious sound effects used in the old days of radio.
