All undergraduate traditional students must file a waiver and insurance card with our insurance company to waive the student insurance and to have the charge removed from their account. Please note that there is a processing time of up to two weeks once you have filed the waiver for all accounts to be updated.

Student Health Insurance is required for all undergraduate traditional students. An annual health insurance waiver and insurance card is required to be filed every year as an undergraduate student to opt-out of the student insurance policy with Wellfleet Insurance. No cards or waivers are accepted after the start of the school year and under no circumstances are they accepted in the Wellness Center at any time.
The insurance charges will be removed once the waiver has been verified and approved by the insurance company. This can take up to 5 to 7 business days.
