Judson University wideout O’Vauntay Vickers opened eyes last year as an elite talent in the NAIA. He was named the program’s first NCCAA First-Team All-American and an NAIA honorable mention. This year he is being recognized by Midwest Sports Net as a top-5 returning receiver in the NAIA. Vickers 2021 campaign led him to be ranked nationally top 10 in numerous categories. He finished tied for fifth in the nation with 7.2 receptions per contest. His 79 total receptions ranked him tied for eighth among NAIA receivers. Vickers was also top nine in total receiving yards with 1103 and his 100.3 yards per game was 11th among NAIA receivers last season. The Judson University Athletic Department congratulates Vickers for this recognition and eagerly awaits the 2022 campaign.
