Student Health Insurance Requirement for Fall 2022-Spring 2023 – UPDATED 6 p.m.

As we are preparing for the Fall 2022- Spring 2023 school year, we are requiring our annual insurance waiver of all undergraduate traditional students who are returning, incoming, and transfers.
Please file a waiver prior to July 31, to have your August payment plan adjusted correctly for your payment that is due AUGUST 1.
There is an annual insurance charge that is applied to your student account in the amount totaling $2052 for the student insurance which is removed once you have filed the online waiver for verification by WELLFLEET INSURANCE COMPANY. Once the waiver has been approved by the insurance company it will take 5-7 days process for insurance charges to be removed. This has been an annual practice and is a requirement by our student insurance carrier.
If you are opting to enroll for the student insurance, you will need to follow the process below to enroll online prior to August 15.
No waivers or insurance cards are accepted in the Health-Center at any time.
*Charges will not be removed until the waiver has been approved by the insurance company.
How to enroll/waive insurance:
The enrollment/waiver period is from May 16 through August 24. Allow 5-7 days for waivers to be processed

1. You will need to file waiver
2. Upload a copy of the front and back of your insurance card.
- International students will both need to file online with waiver process
- You will submit to health services a copy of your policy benefits and exclusions for verification of coverage through health services.
