The RISE Special Olympics basketball team had its first game in Montgomery, Ill., and defeated the Fox Valley Special Recreation team, called “The Lakers,” 50- 24. Big Kudos to Coach Clem McCullough for his leadership! Coach Clem also was assisted by RISE student advisors Reaganne Graff and Amanda Charpentier. Thanks to the good crowd who turned out to cheer on the RISE Eagles. We also had a great opportunity to show support to the Lakers players and their families.
