Take Steps for Wellness on June 12

One day can change your whole life! Saturday, June 12 is Global Wellness Day (GWD) – a day dedicated to refocusing our lives on living well. According to Globalwellnessday.org, “Wellness is an active process of becoming aware of and making choices towards a healthy and fulfilling life. It is more than being free from illness, it is a dynamic process of change and growth.”

In other words, we need to focus on the choices that we are making each day that are going to move us toward wellness in all areas of our lives – emotionally, spiritually, mentally, socially and physically. We know that change takes time, but we also know that making any change requires taking that first step. Globalwellnessday.org has outlined seven steps to take toward living well.
