Judson Announces Administrative Changes

Tena Robotham has served as Executive Assistant to the President since 2009 and Assistant Secretary to the Board of Trustees since 2012. She has been a member of the Judson Cabinet since 2012 and has been responsible for Human Resources since 2019. As of June 1, Tena’s role will change to Assistant Secretary to the Board of Trustees, working from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday in her current office. This change will allow Tena to continue to serve the university and trustees, while giving her the opportunity to focus on her family more.

Effective on June 1, executive support for the President’s Office will be shared by Bonnie Bienert and Cheryl Krup, in addition to their current responsibilities. Bonnie will manage the president’s calendar and schedule. Cheryl will manage all financial and signatory needs for the President’s Office. Jennifer Chicas, Human Resource Generalist, will now report to the president.

With Dr. Curtis Sartor’s retirement and Tena Robotham’s change in responsibility, the University Cabinet will no longer include their roles.  The University Cabinet will meet monthly and will include Dr. Gillian Stewart Wells, Dr. Nikki Fennern, Ginny Guth, Kristen Egan, and Sarah Taylor. A new executive committee, entitled “Cabinet Plus,” will begin meeting monthly on June 15. This committee, made up of both the  University Cabinet as well as other leaders on campus,  will create common monthly goals to move university departments forward in a united vision. Cabinet Plus will be led by Dr. Gillian Stewart-Wells as Chair with Dr. Nikki Fennern as the Vice-Chair.  Effective June 1, 2021, Dr. Nikki Fennern will move from Vice President of Enrollment and Marketing to Executive Vice President, including expanded responsibilities.

With President Crume’s sabbatical beginning June 1, presidential inquiries shall be directed to Dr. Gillian Stewart-Wells. In her absence, Dr. Nikki Fennern will receive these inquiries.
