Judson’s IST Department has been working through several email scams in recent weeks. They offer this advice to the Judson community:
• If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is
• NEVER respond to emails requesting personal information or account details • DO NOT click on embedded links or open attachments from suspicious emails or emails that sound too good to be true
• Keep your browser up-to-date and use anti-spam filters
• Use separate email addresses for personal use and public forums/accounts
