Cheer on Judson’s Special Olympics Basketball Team on January 14

Thanks to those who supported the Judson Special Olympics Basketball Team this week for their first home game. Please come out to support the team on Tuesday, January 14, as they play against the Elmhurst College’s team. Elmhurst’s team is made up of students in the Elmhurst Learning and Success Academy, a program for individuals with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities.

Judson’s Special Olympics Team consists of RISE students, some from each year including the third-year pilot students.  A very generous donor provided the uniforms for our students. The team is coached by Leah Goltz, a Judson student who brings four years of experience coaching a Special Olympic basketball team in Wisconsin.
