Judson University will be closed on Monday, May 27, in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, May 28. See this webpage for a list of Memorial Day events in Elgin.
Compensation for the Memorial Day Holiday will be as follows:
EXEMPT EMPLOYEES
Exempt employees will be paid the agreed upon furlough salary for the Memorial Day. Judson recognizes this day as a holiday and therefore, Employees will be asked to use one of the remaining 4 days of that week as their furlough day.
NON-EXEMPT/FT HOURLY EMPLOYEES
Full-Time Non-Exempt employees who work 30 hours per week or more during the furlough period are eligible for holiday pay. Non-exempt employees will be paid 8 hours of holiday pay on Monday, May 27. We ask that managers work with the employees to determine the best way to schedule the remaining hours to meet their full-time schedule.
