New Black Box Theatre at Judson Opens April 17 with “Risen” Program

Judson’s new Black Box Theatre will open on Wednesday, April 17 at 10:00 a.m., featuring inspiring dramatic pieces and dance focused on Easter in a program entitled “Risen.” Professor Kimberly Schmidt, Director of Judson Theatre, envisions this newly created space to be used as a performance venue for students, staff and faculty to unleash their creativity. The Black Box Theatre is located in the lower level of Thompson Hall, in the set design space next to Dark Room Studio A.  The Judson family is invited to attend “Risen” to prepare their hearts for the coming Easter season.  Chapel credit will be given for students who attend
