One of the key features of the RISE Program is internship experiences for every student. Vocational Advisors work alongside of RISE students to help train and perform the tasks assigned for each work shift. Our Vocational Advisors provide key insights regarding the RISE students’ abilities, challenges and wins in the employment setting.
Currently we are
seeking traditional students who can work at the following times and places:
Monday and Wednesday, 2-4 p.m. at Fresh Ideas/cafeteria
Monday and Friday, 2-4 p.m. at University Center/Business Office
Wednesday, 11:45 a.m.-3:15 p.m. (includes travel time via Uber) at Immanuel
Lutheran School in Dundee
We are also seeking students that might be willing to serve as substitute Vocational Advisors when the assigned advisor is unable to work a specific shift.
