Judson University’s Architecture Department will welcome Carolyn Armenta Davis, Hon. AIA to campus on Friday, Feb. 8, at 4:30 p.m. in Herrick Chapel as part of the Architecture Lecture Series. Davis will lecture on “Black Architects and Today’s Diaspora” to highlight the innovate and award-winning designs in architecture and the impact of the Atlantic African diaspora on design in an age of globalization.
Davis is a graduate of Indiana University and has presented widely as an international architectural historian, lecturer, critic, writer, and curator on African diaspora architecture. This lecture series is the first element of Judson’s focus for Black History Month in February.
